Saundersfoot

Saundersfoot has a large, sandy beach and very shallow water. It is ideal for children. There are plenty of facilities, including toilets and shops. Dogs are banned from much of Saundersfoot beach during the summer.

Adjacent to the beach is the harbour containing a range of small commercial and leisure craft. Boat trips are available from Saundersfoot harbour.

The shopping street runs parallel to Saundersfoot beach allowing several shops, restaurants and bars to have entrances on both the street and the beach. Several holiday apartments overlook the beach and have direct access to it.

Parking at Saundersfoot is limited at the height of the summer season, so an early start is recommended. Out of season, the harbour car park is very convenient (costs a couple of pounds).
