Pembroke

Pembroke is an historic town on the River Cleddau, dominated by its castle. Have a pleasant stroll along the Pembroke River (a continuation of the massive Milford Haven waterway), then climb to Main Street to browse the many interesting shops, and then back to the castle itself.

It is possible to park close to Main Street, especially out of the holiday season, but there is plenty of parking space just below the town on the one-way system.

An annual raft race is held on the 'pond' below the castle.

From Haverfordwest, take the road signposted Milford Haven, then turn off as shown.
