We visited Howick twice -
once to see the magnificent 312ft waterfall, and again to get our coach
fixed when a window broke. This second visit allowed us to explore a bit
more.
Howick is quiet, rather reminiscent
of a mid-west US town, with religious banners displayed and large roads.
There is an outdoor
market close to the falls, but we got much better deals when shopping
in the town itself. A war memorial is situated at one corner of a large
park.
Howick's magnificent waterfall
It's clearly a religious place
Cheap food and drink, friendly service and a papier-mache
zebra!
